Unsurprisingly, Ninjas in Pajamas decided to make a roster change after failing to qualify for the IEM Cologne Major. The team moved Artem “r1nkle” Moroz to the inactive team and welcomed Martiun “stavn” Lund. He will become the squad’s primary AWPer.
R1nkle’s Move
The player became a part of Nip in April 2024, which means he spent two years with the club. During that time, he established himself as a solid player and became known for his aggressive style.
Even though he helped the club achieve a lot in these two years, the player’s most recent performance has not been that good. According to NiP’s statement, “he has been the definition of a true professional”. The team described him as always being committed and hardworking, as well as being a good teammate.
NiP Welcomed stavn
Following r1nkle’s departure, Ninjas in Pajamas decided to add stavrn to their roster. The player will become the team’s new AWP player, which is interesting because he used to be a secondary sniper before. As you probably know, the player used to be part of Astralis but retired briefly due to personal issues.
An interesting fact is that stayn will be reuniting with Rasmus “sjuush” Beck and Richat “Xizt” Landstrom. He used to play with both of them in HEROIC, which is arguably the most successful team he has been a part of to date. Aside from that, NiP’s latest addition is also familiar with Snappi because he played with him at HEROIC prior to COVID.
Stavn joins the team at a crucial time because he will have to help it for the upcoming tournaments. The team will miss out on IEM Cologne, but there are plenty of competitions out there. NiP also decided to keep Kacper “xKacpersky” Gabara after getting him on loan from ENCE, so it’s safe to say the team looks good. We will just have to wait and see if it qualifies for the Singapore Major, which will take place later this year.
Here is NiP’s current roster:
- Marco “Snappi” Pfeiffer
- Rasmus “sjuush” Beck
- Kacper “xKacpersky” Gabara
- Artem “cairne” Mushynskyi
- Martin “Stavn” Lund
