MOUZ Begin Rebuild With jL Loan and xelex Promotion

European powerhouse MOUZ is preparing for a significant roster rebuild, promoting academy talent and bringing in a high-profile stand-in as the team looks to reset after a disappointing start to 2026.

The organization has opted for sweeping changes, benching two key players and reshaping the structure of its Counter-Strike 2 lineup.

We are making the following roster changes effective immediately. Our roster will be as follows for the next three tournaments:

    Astana and Shanghai:

    • xelex
    • Spinx
    • torzsi
    • xertioN (IGL)
    • jL (On loan from NAVI)

    Cologne Major:

MOUZ Core Changes: Benchings, Promotion, and jL Arrival

    Justinas “jL” Lekavicius

MOUZ have moved Ludvig “Brollan” Brolin and Jimi “Jimpphat” Salo to the bench, opening the door for fresh blood and a new direction.

Stepping up is 17-year-old Adrian “xelex” Vincze, who earns a promotion from MOUZ NXT after strong performances in the academy system.

Alongside him, Justinas “jL” Lekavicius will join the team on a short-term loan from Natus Vincere, marking his return to competition after a break from professional play.

MOUZ Leadership Shift: xertioN Takes Over the IGL Role

    Dorian “xertioN” Berman

One of the most notable changes comes in leadership. Dorian “xertioN” Berman is set to assume in-game leading duties following Brollan’s benching.

This role change also reshapes responsibilities within the team, with xelex expected to take over more aggressive, entry-focused positions.

    MOUZ Lineup Moving Forward

For upcoming events (post-Major), MOUZ is expected to field:

    • Dorian “xertioN” Berman
    • Ádám “torzsi” Torzsás
    • Lotan “Spinx” Giladi
    • Adrian “xelex” Vincze
    • Justinas “jL” Lekavicius

Timing Complications Ahead of the Major

    IEM Cologne Major 2026

Despite the overhaul, MOUZ won’t be able to field their new lineup at the upcoming IEM Cologne Major due to roster lock rules.

Only one substitution is allowed from the lineup registered earlier in April, meaning jL will not be eligible to play at the event. Instead, Brollan will temporarily return to the active lineup for the tournament.

The new roster featuring jL is instead expected to debut at events such as PGL Astana and the CS Asia Championships.

    MOUZ High-Risk Rebuild

This move signals a clear shift in philosophy for MOUZ, leaning into youth development while adding a proven but temporary piece in jL.

Promoting xelex aligns with the organization’s long-standing investment in academy talent, while the jL loan offers immediate experience and leadership qualities.

Whether this hybrid approach pays off will likely depend on how quickly the new pieces gel and whether xertioN can successfully transition into the in-game leader role.
