Brazilian organization Legacy has confirmed that assistant coach Alan “adrrr” Riveros will step up as head coach for the rest of the CS2 2026 season, replacing Bruno “RiVAS” Rivetti on the sidelines.
The move is immediate, with adrrr already registered to lead the team at upcoming events, including BetBoom Rush B and all remaining tournaments this season, notably the IEM Cologne Major.

Temporary Change for Legacy
Legacy has not disclosed the exact reason for RiVAS’ absence, though the organization clarified that he remains under contract. However, there is still no confirmation on whether he will return after the Major, leaving the long-term coaching situation unresolved.
This creates uncertainty for a team that has already experienced multiple changes throughout the year.
Continued Instability for Legacy

The coaching switch is the latest development in what has been a turbulent 2026 for the Brazilian side. Legacy only appointed RiVAS earlier this year, replacing former coach Olavo “chucky” Napoleão.
Roster instability has also extended into the server. In February, the team brought in Andrei “arT” Piovezan as in-game leader, replacing Lucas “lux” Meneghini, a move that marked a significant stylistic shift for the lineup.
With both leadership roles, coaching, and in-game leader undergoing recent changes, Legacy continues to search for consistency.
adrrr’s Opportunity

For adrrr, this stint represents a major opportunity. Previously serving as assistant coach, the 38-year-old now takes charge during a crucial stretch of the season, including high-profile international events.
His ability to stabilize the team could play a key role in Legacy’s results heading into the Major cycle.
Current Legacy Lineup
Legacy will continue the season with:
- Eduardo “dumau” Wolkmer
- Bruno “latto” Rebelatto
- Vinicius “n1ssim” Pereira
- Guilherme “saadzin” Pacheco
- Andrei “arT” Piovezan
- Alan “adrrr” Riveros (coach)
What’s Next for Legacy?

With major tournaments on the horizon, all eyes will be on whether adrrr can bring structure to a roster that has struggled to maintain stability throughout the year.
The coming months, especially performances at events like IEM Cologne, could ultimately determine whether this temporary solution becomes something more permanent.
