One of Bulgaria’s top CS2 teams decided to part ways with Slaven “AwaykeN” Lyubenov. He will leave the team after making way for Deyvid “h4rn” Benchev. The latter will become the new AWPer.
AwaykeN is no Longer A part of Acend
According to AwaykeN, “it’s been an unforgettable journey,” and the player is happy that he had the chance to play for the squad. The player spent around 6 months with the club after joining in November 2025. Despite the initial success, the player was unable to help the squad achieve its goals, so it was time for a change.
Instead of AwaykeN, Acend added another Bulgarian CS2 star – h4rn. The latter joined around 2 months ago and has been playing for the club ever since. To be fair, he proved to be a good addition to the team, as he helped the team a lot.
It seems like AwaykeN was waiting to see whether he’d get another chance to shine, but this did not happen. As a result, the player decided to try his luck elsewhere and is now looking for a new team.
Speaking of teams, Acend has been struggling to achieve good results. The last tournament it took part in was NODWIN Clutch Series #7. Despite achieving some good results, such as a 2-0 victory against mouz NXT, the team eventually lost. BIG was the final challenge for the Bulgarians as they failed to defeat their opponents.
As for AwaykeN, we will have to wait and see what’s going to happen. The player has proven he has what it takes to play on the big stage, so who knows, the player may join a big team soon.
