Asian Championship League 2026 Review & Dates
As we reported before, the Asian Championship 2026 is a CS2 tournament taking place in Shanghai, China. It will be held between May 11 and May 17 and we will see a total of 16 teams. All of the matches will be played at the LOOP Center and Hero Esports is the brand that organizes it all.
ACL 2026 Format, Prize Pool & Teams
We will have a total of 16 CS2 teams competing at the upcoming tournament. They will be split into two double-elimination groups with Bo3 games. The team that wins the group will advance to the Grand Final, which is a single-elimination match. Bear in mind that the last series of the ACL 2026 will be in a best-of-five format.
Aside from competing for glory, the CS2 teams will also play for a $150,000 prize pool. What’s even more important is that the winner will get a slot for the EWC 2026. The Esports World Cup is the biggest CS2 tournament of the year, so it’s safe to say the teams will have extra motivation to win.

Asian Championship League 2026 – The Result So Far
The Asian Championship League 2026 actually started already and we had the chance to see two matches. Surprisingly, FlyQuest was the first to head over to the lower bracket after the team failed to defeat JiJieHao. The team will now meet Chinggis Warriors after the latter defeated NEXVOID.
