As we reported before, the Asian Championship 2026 is a CS2 tournament taking place in Shanghai, China. It will be held between May 11 and May 17 and we will see a total of 16 teams. All of the matches will be played at the LOOP Center and Hero Esports is the brand that organizes it all.

ACL 2026 Format, Prize Pool & Teams

We will have a total of 16 CS2 teams competing at the upcoming tournament. They will be split into two double-elimination groups with Bo3 games. The team that wins the group will advance to the Grand Final, which is a single-elimination match. Bear in mind that the last series of the ACL 2026 will be in a best-of-five format.

Aside from competing for glory, the CS2 teams will also play for a $150,000 prize pool. What’s even more important is that the winner will get a slot for the EWC 2026. The Esports World Cup is the biggest CS2 tournament of the year, so it’s safe to say the teams will have extra motivation to win.

Speaking of teams, we’ll see these names in action:

    • FlyQuest
    • Kaleido Gaming
    • Lynn Vision Gaming
    • Rare Atom
    • NEXVOID
    • SemperFi Esports
    • THUNDERdOWNUNDER
    • TYLOO
    • Chinggis Warriors
    • Change The Game
    • Haunted House
    • Ground Zero Gaming
    • Last Bullet
    • JiJieHao
    • Alter Ego
    • 5tar eSports

Asian Championship League 2026 – The Result So Far

The Asian Championship League 2026 actually started already and we had the chance to see two matches. Surprisingly, FlyQuest was the first to head over to the lower bracket after the team failed to defeat JiJieHao. The team will now meet Chinggis Warriors after the latter defeated NEXVOID.

We have six more matches to follow today:

    • TYLOO vs Ground Zero
    • 5star eSports vs Rare Atom
    • Kaleido Gaming vs Last Bullet
    • Change The Game vs SemperFi Esports
    • THUNDERdOWNUNDER vs Haunted House
    • Alter Ego vs Lynn Vision Gaming

Follow us for more details about the tournament. It’s definitely more interesting than it seems, especially when you consider that there is a ticket for the EWC 2026.
