Denys “Tripex17” Haponov is no longer a part BIG Academy. The 21-year-old Ukrainian player decided to move to the Windcard Academy after spending about 5 months with his previous club.
BIG Academy Parted Ways with Tripex17
BIG Academy is BIG’s secondary roster and it actually used to be one of the better-performing Tier 2 CS2 teams. However, the squad has not had much success in the last couple of years. Tripex17’s addition to the team should have allowed it to perform better, but the results were not there. That’s one of the big reasons why the player decided to move to another club.
Speaking of another club, the Ukrainian will join Wildcard Academy. The American esports organization has had some OK results in 20205 after winning several events like the United 21 Season 32, 36, 39 and 40. Despite that, it also experienced several roster changes and has not had much success in 2026. Hopefully, the new signing will allow the team to step up its game.
Wildcard Academy will have loads of interesting tournaments ahead, such as the NSTLGA League Season 1, ESEA Season 57: North American Finals and COSSFIRE Season 5. It will be interesting to see how the new player will fit into the roster.
Tripex17’s Career so far
Before joining BIG Academy, the young CS2 player started his career in 2023 during CS:GO. Once CS2 arrived, the player was a part of PLUSH for around 6 months, and after that, he joined Sabre Esports. His time there was short-lived because just a month later, he became a part of Valtrion.
Tripex17 also played around for a month with that roster and after leaving, he was without a team for around 3 months. In January 2026, the player moved to BIG Academy, where he has played until today.
