CCT just announced the 8 CS2 teams that will play at the Global Finals. The latter will be a $75,000 tournament that will take place between April 23-26 in Vila Nova de Gaia, Portugal.
The Eight CS2 Teams at the CCT Global Finals
Counter-Strike 2 fans will find the following teams competing:
- Monte
- HEROIC
- Illwill
- Ninjas in Pajamas
- BIG
- Sharks
All of them received direct invites because of their global standing on the VRS. Alongside them, CS2 players will also see two willdcards – Betclick and 100 Thieves. Betclic recently won the Parken Challenger Championship.
Originally, we had to see GamerLegion, but the team had to decline the invitation because it would play at BLAST Rivals. The competition will start just three days after the CCT Global Finals come to an end.
Overall, the tournament is shaping up to be a classic because we will see a lot of big names. There are several squads that players are looking forward to seeing in action, such as BIG and HEROIC. The two will be among the big favorites.
