Who is Raphael ‘cogu’ Camargo in Counter-Strike?
Old-school CS2 fans will remember that Raphael “cogu” Camargo used to be a prominent name in the game. He started his career in 2011 and has played for some of the best teams in Brazil over the years. He hasn’t been active for some time now and his last endeavor was with O Plano, where he was a coach in 2022.
His addition to Team Liquid’s content creation team should boost the organization’s popularity, especially in South America. According to Liquid’s press release, the organization teamed up with Duelbits to bring Cogu to the squad, so it’s safe to say it’s a big move.
What content cogu is expected to produce for Team Liquid
Considering cogu has the task of being a content creator, we can expect a lot of videos, interviews, and live streaming. He is one of Brazil’s most popular Counter-Strike players and knows all of the big names locally and internationally. Therefore, we would not be surprised if we see different interviews, insights and a lot of behind-the-scenes content.
Adding legendary names to big organizations as content creators is not something new and it is not only present in CS2. Many other brands have done the same, and these moves have usually been successful.
Team Liquid content creators roster beyond cogu
Outside of cogu, Team Liquid works with various other content creators. You can find the likes of:
- Nick “nitr0” Cannella
- Jonathan “EliGE” Jablonowski
- Jake “Stewie2K” Yip
Outside of these three, people can also find Joedat “Voyboy” Esfahani and William scarra” Li. All in all, Team Liquid has some interesting names in its roster.
