Metizport finally revealed that the squad has added Maciej “F1KU” Miklas to its roster. The Polish CS2 superstar is back in action after ENCE benched him a few months ago.
F1KU has Reunited With Several Ex Teammates
Since the Polish CS2 player is now a part of Metizport, he will reunite with several old teammates. F1KU actually played with Peter “stanislaw” Jarguz and Vincent “vinS” Jozefiak before. The three used to play at Wildcard back in the day and achieved fairly good results.
According to the sports director at Metizport, the squad needed someone like F1KU for a while. He has the needed experience, and since the organization is in the middle of rebuilding, he is an excellent fit.
It is important to know that F1KU has already played for Metizport. He had a big role in the team’s success at the European Pro League Series 6, which took place in April. He was actually one of the standout players for his team.
Metizport’s Ongoing Rebuild
As mentioned, the addition of F1KU is just one of the steps that the squad took to rebuild its roster. The decision came after fairly poor results at the start of the year. The organization decided to bench Jack “Jackinho” Strom Mattsson and Nikola “Dragon” Boskovic. After that, the team decided to add stanislaw and then F1KU.
People expected to see Liam “MaiL09” Tugel back after he went to Alliance on a loan. The contract is until June 30, but there is a clause to recall the player. It seems like this was not needed, however, because he is not a part of the current roster.
Here is how Metizport’s roster looks like right now:
- Peter “stanislaw” Jarhuz
- Nicolas “Plopski” Gonzalez Zamora
- Isak “isak” Fahlen
- David “forsyy” Bily
- Marciej “F1KU” Miklas
- Vincent “vinS” Jozefiak
There are many big CS2 tournaments ahead, so we’ll have to wait and see if the new roster will live up to the expectations.
