    via leagueoflegends.com

The latest LoL patch adds 45 new Augments, some of which will be unlockable through the progression track. What’s also new is that there will be a Mayhem Progression Track option. The goal is to make it easy for players to progress and win things like emotes and icons. You can learn more about all of the different rewards here.

Some of the Augments will also belong to a themed set. There are also changes to Firecracker, Deathknell, and several other elements.

Champion Bounty Updates and Turret Plate Changes Explained

Another thing that is new in the League of Legends Patch 26.3 is the champion bounties. Riot decided to make killing champions more rewarding, so it introduced the following changes:

    • Devalue rate on death – 1 per 3.5 gold given out
    • Re-increment rate from farming – 1 per 7 gold earned

The next new thing is the Turret Plates, which have received small changes. The bulwark temporary resistances are now 30-50 per plate based on nearby enemy champions. Also, the reactive VFX when hit by champions will be smaller.

The LoL Patch 26.3 also introduced several champion changes. We already reported some of them last week, but here is an overview of some of the changes:

    • Ashi – Her W’s cooldown is now down to 9/8/7/6/5.
    • Briar – The champion’s base HP has grown from 95 to 100, and its armor is now 4.5 instead of 4.2. His Q’s (Head Rush) now costs 5% of the champ’s HP. The same is true for Blood Frenzy, Chilling Scream, and Certain Death.
    • Ekko – Z-Drive Resonance (his passive) now has an AP Ratio of 90% and Monster Damage of 270% (down from 300%).
    • Jayce – His Q now deals slightly more damage, but the Monster bonus damage is down from 25 to 10. His Shock Blast, on the other hand, deals less damage, whereas his R now has higher armor and magic resistance shred.

Item Balance Changes in League of Legends Patch 26.3

Alongside the champion changes in LoL Patch 26.3, Riot also announced several item changes. Here is an overview of some of them:

    • Actualizer – costs 2800 gold instead of 3100; the combined cost is 750 instead of 1050.
    • Endless Hunger – The item’s total cost is now 3100 instead of 300, and it gives 65 damage instead of 50. Also, it will require a Caulfield’s Warhammer, Pickaxe, Longsword, and 825 gold.
    • Protoplasm Harness – The item’s lifeline max HP is now 200–300 instead of 200. The item’s lifeline healing now gives 200-400 (+175 armor and +175 magic resistance). Also, the item grants 20 haste instead of 15.

Rune Updates and Arena Mode Changes in Patch 26.3

The League of Legends Patch 26.3 also introduced several rune and arena changes.

    • Cash Back now grants a 7.5% Gold Refund
    • Phase Rush’s ranged effectiveness gives 50% (12.5%–25% Movement Speed).
    • Triple Tonic’s Elixir of Force Adaptive Force is now 25 instead of 30.

Arena mode in League of Legends Patch 26.3 receives multiple targeted bug fixes aimed at improving combat clarity and consistency, along with a small balance adjustment to one Arena-exclusive item. These changes focus on reducing unintended interactions and stabilizing round-to-round gameplay.

Final Thoughts on League of Legends Patch 26.3 and What to Expect Next

League of Legends Patch 26.3 focuses on refining Season 2026 balance by adjusting champion power levels, improving ARAM Mayhem progression, and tuning key items and runes.

While the patch does not introduce sweeping gameplay changes, it lays important groundwork for future updates, especially in alternative modes like ARAM and Arena. With additional balance passes expected in upcoming patches, players should keep an eye on how these adjustments shape both ranked play and casual modes moving forward.
