Riot Games made an interesting announcement – it added the League of Legends Community Event Support Program. This is a brand new initiative whose goal is to empower event organizers and celebrate community-driven tournaments in North America. The idea arrived just a few days after the LoL Patch 26.5, so let’s learn more about it.
League of Legends Community Event Support Program
The idea of this program is to allow eligible event organizers to receive an official support package from Riot Games. The package will feature special themed swag that will “level up” the attendee experience. Each support kit will include physical and in-game items related to the theme of each season. Those wishing to submit their applications can do so by clicking here.
If you’re wondering who can apply, the program is open to event organizers in North America. It does not matter if you’re planning to host a multi-day tournament, a collegiate campus watch party, or something else. The first wave of kits will be dispatched between March 30 and April 30, but don’t worry, you can also get something if your event is after this.
League of Legends Support Kit Details
Each of the support kits will have specific, limited-edition items that people can only receive if they attend the events. For example, the 2026 Season 1 Demacia kits will contain the following things:
- Collectable Patches
- Demacian mousepads
- Demacian stickers
- Specific Demacia-related skins, emotes, ward skins and icons
Riot Games will be working with Rally Cry on this project. This is a company whose mission is to “build positive experiences for everyone of all ages and skill levels through gaming”.
This is definitely an interesting initiative from Riot Games that we’ll be keeping a close eye on. Although it is only for North America, we expect to see it in other regions soon.
