The Grand Final of Elisa Masters Espoo 2024 will be ENCE to face off against HEROIC. ENCE was unexpected to come this far, but they did it even though they recently updated their roster with additions of young players. HEROIC has been doing great since IEM Rio 2024 and seems to have become a consistent top team with their game. At first, ENCE played an opening match against 9z and won with a 13-6 score. The next team they met was no one else but HEROIC, and they lost with a 0-2 score, but then again they had to play a decider match against 9z and won again with a 2-0 score, this time in a best-of-three. The semi-final wasn’t looking good for ENCE since it was against TheMongolZ, a team who showed good results on big stages against better teams, but it didn’t stop ENCE, and they won with a 2-1 score.

It seems like young players, ’Neityu’ and ‘podi’ were a good choice to be under such experienced in-game leader as ‘gla1ve’. ‘podi’ was leading scoreboards in both decider and semi-final matches, leaving no chances for enemies, even though ‘gla1ve’ had a negative score it wasn’t a problem for them. ‘sdy’ is also experienced guy who can drop a good amount of frags and clutches on a good day and become a problem for any team.

HEROIC Path to the Grand Final

HEROIC hadn’t lost a single match coming into this Grand Final. They had an opening match against Rebels and won with a 13-10 score. Their match for the playoff stage was against ENCE, and they won with a 2-0 score. The semi-final was against B8, and HEROIC was the favorite to win the match, and so they did with a 2-0 score as well.

As we mentioned above, HEROIC is a team that gets better, and we could see their progress since IEM Rio 2024. They’re one of the top European teams at this moment, and their latest addition of ‘degster’ seems to be helping a lot in this case. He is a top-tier sniper, and he makes a difference in the game, and it was something they missed before. ‘sjuush’ and ‘TeSeS’ are both known for their fragging ability since the old HEROIC who was a top team for a long time.

ENCE has yet to prove its ability to be consistent, and consistency is not easy for young players. HEROIC is a more experienced team here, and HEROIC players already know what it feels like to play in the Grand Final, which will be their advantage as well. We expect HEROIC to win this match.
