Match Overview
The first quarter-final of BLAST World Final 2024 will pit MOUZ against Vitality. These two teams have met a few times this year, the last one being earlier this month at IEM Rio 2024, where MOUZ won with a 2-1 score. This one might be even harder for Vitality since they’re playing with a stand-in instead of their main player.

Current Team and Players Form
MOUZ
MOUZ had been in shaky form before the IEM Rio 2024, and then they showed everyone that they were back at the top by reaching the Grand Finals of IEM Rio. Even though they lost it against Natus Vincere, it was more than a good sign that they’re back to play the top game. Here at BLAST, they started with a win over FaZe with a confident score of 2-0, and then they lost to Astralis, but Astralis was the one who took down Natus Vincere as well, so it’s not a big deal since Astralis is in a great form as well. ‘Brollan’ was putting a lot of frags against FaZe, and other than him, ‘xertioN’ also seems to be in good form at this tournament.
Vitality
They have to play with a stand-in ‘JACKZ’ instead of ‘mezii’ at this tournament. In their first match against Spirit, ‘JACKZ’ couldn’t find his game. In the second game, he was doing pretty fine against Liquid, but it might be inconsistent since he needs time to get used back to that level of play, so it might be the problem against top teams here. ‘ZywOo’ seems to be in great shape, and he might carry any game alone, but it will be hard to do it alone against the best teams.

Match Prediction
Considering that Vitality has a stand-in to play with them at this tournament, it is advantageous for MOUZ. Also, the last time these two met, MOUZ won even when Vitality had their full roster. We expect MOUZ to win this match.
Can Vitality do it without a full roster or will it be MOUZ to win once again and get their semi-final spot? We will have to see it this Friday at 09:30 CET!
