CS2 is one of the most popular games in the online space. Did you know that the number of simultaneous players playing CS2 online is about 1 – 1.3 million daily? The number of unique players per month is approximately 30-40 million.

Inside the game, everyone is doing different things. Some enjoy playing, professionals who play and step up daily, and people who sell and buy skins. And it is about the latter we will talk about in this article.

    Highlights

    • A review of EXCORP’s unique research on skin traders in CS2 that you may have missed
    • Interesting facts about trading in CS2 that you probably don’t know yet

According to research by CS.MONEY and Scope.gg, about 70% of players play with at least one skin costing more than $1. Given that the amount spent on cosmetic items is growing, about 4.5 million active players have recently expressed interest in skins and interacted with them on the trade market.

Portrait of an Average Trader in EXCORP research

Among CS.MONEY users surveyed, about 20% of skin traders earn $500-2.500 per month, and 10% claim to make $2500-10.000 or more per month.

The statistics indicate that most people are not just traders – they love playing CS2, and the income from selling skins is earned through their love of the game and understanding of how it works.

None of them initially set out to sell skins. They just started playing the game. More than 50 percent of those surveyed cared equally about playing and selling; only 5 percent no longer play but only trade.

    Reasons to buy skins

The EXCorp study has some interesting facts about how many hours traders play and how many are involved in selling and buying skins.

How much time traders spend on CS2

Traders generally spend up to 8 hours per week. And this is a minimal amount of time that you can give up to make money.

However, sometimes, as in a regular job – about 8 hours a day, if you do not take into consideration.

A large study on traders also talks about those who don’t just buy and sell but invest in skins in CS2 ‘” for example, the most extensive inventory on CS.MONEY exceeds $400,000 in value.

The skin trading market is much simpler than the stock market, and the capital is not subject to economic crises. But are skins the property of their owner, and should the wife in divorce get half of the skins in CS2? You can also find information about this in the report.

If you’ve been interested in trading in CS2 for a while, then you should read the story of what the August 2013 Arms Deal update brought and the stories of real skin traders.

    Summary

The interesting facts we have given are just a tiny part of the extensive information in the article. In it, you will also find tips on how to make decisions about buying and selling skins, trading strategy options, and much more.

In CS2, there are more than 19 thousand items of various items, only on Steam posted for sale 940 million skins simultaneously. Try your hand at it, too.
