RIOT carefully selects each character to add to the Victorious Collection lineup. In the spring, they start looking at skin options based on champions that have significantly impacted the competition throughout the year. After that, the list is narrowed to eliminate the factors of creating a repeat skin for the same character or role released last year.

How to Obtain Victorious Skins?
Victorious Skins is a season-ending reward from the first season in 2011. Each end of season rewarded a given skin on a particular character, approximately one skin per year.
This variation of skins is rare in its class, especially skins released before Season 6 – they are the rarest. And they became so because there are few players left nowadays who played in 2011-2016, making these skins popular among players.
Over the years, the rewards for Victorious Skins have undergone some changes. In 2018, players stopped receiving Victorious Ward rewards and started getting Honor Wards instead. These new rewards are now based on a player’s Honor rank instead of their competitive rank.
Starting from the 2023 Season, you can earn Victorious skins by playing Ranked, earning Split Points, and reaching at least Honor Level 2. The number of games you’ll need to play or win will depend on your rank.
A player in the Iron, Bronze, or Silver league must collect 1000 Split Points to unlock the Victorious skin for that split. On the other hand, if a player is in the Gold league or higher, he will only need 80 Split Points to unlock the skin. However, please note that this only applies while you maintain your Gold or higher status. If you get demoted before unlocking the skin, you must collect 1000 Split Points.
