This Friday it is going to are two quarter-finals to be played. One is Astralis vs Liquid, and the second one is Vitality to face off against FaZe. The first match will be Astralis vs. Liquid, starting at 15:15 CET, and Vitality vs. FaZe will play at 18:30 CET. Here, you will find an overview of the two matches and our predictions based on our experience and other factors.

    Astralis vs. Liquid

Astralis vs. Liquid - Quarter-final - ESL Pro League 19

These two teams have never met since they updated their rosters. Both teams did well in the group stage, and now they're here in the quarter-finals, fighting for the semi-final spot. Liquid is on its way to being a consistent team, and Astralis is doing better than before since it built its roster with younger players.

    Current Team and Players Form

    Astralis

Astralis keeps getting better and better with all the young players they've got, and 'device', with his experience, seems to work well together with them. They did a great job at the group stage and didn't lose a single map. One of their wins was against the second-best team in the world, FaZe, which they won with a 2-0 score.

    Liquid

They haven't played that many against top teams yet, and the only top team they played against at the group stage was MOUZ, which they lost to with a score of 0-2. It still seems like they have a problem finding their way to play, and we might even see some roster changes very soon if they don't find a way to show better results. The only thing that sometimes saves them is their star players 'Twistzz' and 'NAF'; both can cause problems for any team if they have a good day.

    Match Prediction

Astralis is looking like a better team in every aspect possible. If FaZe couldn't take a map from Astralis at this tournament, it's hard to imagine Liquid taking an entire series. We expect Astralis to win this match.

    Vitality vs. FaZe

Vitality vs. FaZe - Quarter-final - ESL Pro League 19

Vitality vs. FaZe met before at the PGL Major Copenhagen 2024, and even though it was Vitality expected to win a match, FaZe won with a 2-1 score back then. Now it's Vitality's chance to avenge the loss at the biggest tournament this year. Can they take their revenge, or is it going to be FaZe who takes Vitality down once again? We will see.

Vitality vs. FaZe - PGL Major Copenhagen 2024

    Current Team and Players Form

    Vitality

Vitality didn't lose a single game in the Group Stage or even a single map, but their opponents weren't the top teams, and it's hard to judge their real level at this point. We will have to see what they're capable of against the best teams out there. However, Vitality players seem to be in good shape, and it's a good sign with such high-caliber players on their roster.

    FaZe

FaZe hasn't shown any signs of being in bad shape for long. They're champions of the PGL Major and already got their revenge here against Natus Vincere, a team who stole the Major trophy. Every player of FaZe is showing insane performance from game to game, and it pays off. Together with their experienced in-game leader, 'karrigan' calls' make them a machine that is hard to stop.

Spinx is ready for a banger game

    Match Prediction

FaZe is looking like a better choice here since they are consistent as a team now. They're for a top tournament title after losing the PGL Major, and Vitality doesn't look that scary at the moment. We expect FaZe to win this match and proceed to the Semi-Final.

We will return tomorrow with the semi-final match overview and predictions, so stay tuned and enjoy this Friday's matches. They're going to be lit!
