Gabriel ‘cameram4n’ Hespanhol, one of the most respected names in the Rainbow Six Siege history, saw himself in the post-Six Invitational transfer window without a team to compete in the new season. Inactive in FaZe Clan since December of the last year, a name like cameram4n would certainly shake up the transfer window.
The 29-year-old ended up playing in the Brazilian League under the tag ‘Looking For Org‘, an orgless team mixing up fresh blood and experience.
BLIX.GG approached the player to know better the process of building the new roster and the new phase for the Brazilian player.
‘Firstly I was planning to play for another team but the window came at the worst possible time and made this process difficult, then interested teams like w7m in Brazil, Team Secret and Parabellum from abroad got in touch.’ – said cameram4n.
Parabellum’s interest was mentioned by the CEO Chris Lamarucciola in an exclusive interview for BLIX.GG.
‘w7m had other names in mind as well, Secret at the time didn’t make sense for me or them to hire at the time and Parabellum ended up changing the project and taking the whole team out of line.’
‘I was very excited about Parabellum, because the interest was real, I got to play some training sessions and I was even assigned to help create a project with the best players that we tested.’
Looking For Org
Since FURIA left the scene, the project got the star Diogo ‘fntzy’ Lima and Enzo ‘rappz’ Aziz, inactive in MIBR. Victor ‘Daffodil’ Henrique and Swag were two picks from tier two to attempt to raise their game to a higher level. This selection process was between cameram4n and the coach Luiz ‘Kizi’ Carlos.
‘This opportunity came up with me and Kizi at the beginning, putting together some names that we thought were ideal.’
‘It was a very difficult selection because we had to put good players and good people at the same time, there were many good options on the market, but we wanted a mix of young blood with experience and we arrived at this result that for me is very satisfactory so far.’
‘swag was chosen for the raw skill he showed mainly in training, Daffodil played FPL with him and had a great experience with the gameplay and confidence that passes to the team, a very complete player.’
Asked about how the process of getting an organization has been, cameram4n says: ‘Yes, I think it is irrelevant to comment on which one, but there was interest and there is still interest from some other orgs’
Starting all from zero
‘It has been very busy and very tiring because the team has just completed two weeks, so it is a very new team, but it has been a wonderful and very rewarding experience, I have a lot of faith in the project.’
‘I had expectations for this year of going to Invi. I like to take small steps and be very down to earth, but I’m sure we can surprise a lot this year.’
