Selin “Spike” Sinem, professional CS:GO player from Astralis Female roster, responded to allegations of sexual abuse by her ex-teammate Kaia “KiKi” Holmen. She claimed that it was consensual.
“I asked for consent both times when I initiated the âmaking outâ and both times she said yes. I understand that she didnât want to go all the way and I didnât do anything physically against her will. She never shouted or kept saying no. Nobody in the house, including the staff, heard any screaming or yelling because it simply did not happen,” Spike noted on Tweetlonger.
She analyzed KiKi’s story in detail and commented on what she considers true and what lies.
In conclusion, she admitted that she should not have started a relationship with a teammate.
“To conclude: I shouldnât have engaged with a teammate like this, but I did do my part by asking for consent. I asked twice and respected that we should not go further. There was absolutely no screaming no and shouting and there was zero assault. My question about what had changed her mind was dumb and I wonât ever ask such a question again. I know that I genuinely asked out of curiosity but I wasnât being thoughtful and I shouldâve been more considerate of how it might come off as,” she noted.
Earlier, On October 8, KiKi accused Spike of sexual abuse and detailed her story on Tweetlonger.
Astralis has yet to comment on the situation.
