Weapon Charms in CS2: The Coolest New Additions & Their Prices

On the night of October 2 to October 3, 2024, Valve introduced a significant update for Counter-Strike 2, and the light saw new cosmetic items – charms. Read more about everything in the update in the article CS2 Update: Charms, New Skins, New Event.

Although charms have only recently appeared, they are already freely available on websites, and instead of trying your luck, you can just buy what you like. 

The Blix team has researched and prepared a selection of the coolest charms you can use on your weapon.

Any charm can be attached to a weapon for free if you play on the xplay.gg servers. You will also find many skins you can play with for free.

How do Charms Work?

A charm is a cosmetic item in the form of a small toy. It can decorate any weapon by hanging it in a particular place. You can hang such items on the moving parts of the gun or rifle but not on the magazine. 

Charms are similar to skins but have a fundamental difference: the first does not have float value and can not be used in exchange contracts. Charms also have many more patterns: if the number of patterns of regular skins reaches 1000, the number of patterns of charms is 100,000.

Patterns determine the appearance of charms and affect the color changes of the whole item and its parts. 

Such items fall out of unique keychain capsules. To be able to get charms in CS2, players had to splurge and spend 3 Armory credits. To get such currency, purchasing an “Armory pass” worth 14 dollars on the official servers was necessary. 

Now everything is more straightforward – just buy the keychain you are interested in on a website, for example, CS.MONEY. Speaking of which, compared to 2024, you can already purchase charms at lower prices in 2025. However, specific patterns are certainly more expensive.

Remove key chains from weapons can be removed with the help of a special tool – a separator. Removal and replacement will cost 1 dollar. Separators are sold in a set: there are three units of such a tool. 

Currently, in CS 2, there are two collections of keychains – Missing Link Charms, which contain miniature versions of agents, and Small Arms Charms – miniature weapons.

Community Reaction

Although it’s been quite some time since new items have been introduced, the community is ambivalent about new cosmetics. After all, players were expecting a new operation in 2024, not charms. 

You must agree that it is very frustrating when, instead of a full-fledged operation with missions, you are given only some cosmetics, albeit beautiful in their way. Therefore, whether to buy it or boycott it is up to you.

Best Charms From The “Missing Link” Collection

These charms are miniature characters made in the shape of sausages. Each charm has its design and some rare patterns. The collection includes 17 different charms. 

These tiny human sausages have varying degrees of rarity, with red being the rarest, followed by pink, purple, and blue. Players can attach them to any weapon or C4 in any location.

How to use Charms in CS2?

Go to Inventory and select the weapon you want to apply the charm to. Click the “Equip Charm” option. After that, the “Apply Charm” option will appear in the customization menu. Select it, and a menu will appear with the charms you own. Select the charm and the location of the weapon where you want to attach it. Save.

How do I Get Charms for my Weapons in CS2?

Charms can be obtained in various ways: buy them in the in-game store, earn them in seasonal events or missions, or get them as rewards in cases.

Can I Remove the Charm?

Uh, sure. You can permanently remove the charm with a special tool you must buy at the store. After it is removed, the charm will return to your inventory.
