BIG has signed Rigon 'rigoN' Gashi to their CS2 roster, replacing David 'prosus' Hesse, who was benched. This is the fourth change in the squad in six months, following the signings of Florian 'syrsoN' Rische and Jon 'JDC' de Castro in February and the departure of head coach Fatih 'gob b' Dayik in May.
Following a series of disappointing results, such as BIG's failure to qualify for PGL Major Copenhagen, the team achieved a top-16 finish at the ESL Pro League and a top-eight placing at IEM Dallas.
Since the end of May, 'rigoN' had been without a team after ending his more than two-and-a-half-year stint with Guild Eagles, formerly known as the Bad News Eagles and BLINK.
In 2022 and 2023, the Swiss-Kosovar rifler attended three consecutive Major Legends Stages with a team before joining GUILD in November. However, Guild Eagles failed to qualify for PGL Major Copenhagen, leading to the release of the roster and the players going their separate ways.
Although he is best known for his time with the Kosovar squad, 'rigoN' has his roots in the German scene. He is a native German speaker and has played for teams such as DIVIZON and Planetkey from 2016 to 2018.
