CCT has revealed the invitations for the CCT Season 2 Europe Series 19, featuring 16 teams set to compete in the closed qualifier, with 12 teams getting group stage invites, and eight teams securing spots in the playoffs. All teams were invited through the Europe VRS, except for Ninjas in Pyjamas, who were granted a wildcard invite.
CCT Announcement
The closed qualifier starting February 19 will feature four GSL-style BO3 groups, with the top two from each group advancing to a qualification BO3 for four spots in the group stage. The group stage includes 16 teams competing in a Swiss-style BO3 format, with the top eight qualifying for playoffs, which are held in a single-elimination BO3 bracket to determine the winner.
Numerous well-known participants are expected to compete at every stage. PARIVISION and BC.Game are likely to be top contenders to advance from the closed qualifier, given their current strong performances. 500 enters the group stage following their victory in CCT Season 2 Europe Series 17, while established tier-one team BIG is anticipated to reach the playoffs.
