Team Croatia has been disqualified from the IESF Eastern Europe Closed Qualifiers for the IESF Championships due to a player with the nickname 'Maki' being found to have used "programs giving an unfair advantage" in a match against Israel on July 9th.

After the match, Israeli player Shiran 'shushan' Shushan claimed that Croatia lost to "the best cheaters in Counter-Strike." The Israeli team initially defeated Albania but then lost to Serbia in the second round, leading to their elimination from the competition.
