The previous record dates back to April 2020 (857,604 players online on average) when the game set both all-time average and peak players count.

Those records were rewritten only three years later: peak players count record was updated in February 2023, and from that moment it has been already broken several times for the last 2 months; average players record was just broken a couple of hours ago.
