The in-game leader of the HAVU Gaming SC:GO squad Joonas "doto" Forss has decided to bench himself from the active roster.
He said he started this project with very high motivation "to re-establish the Finnish scene in the higher tiers of CS" but he thinks he failed in this.
"Being a captain was one of the hardest struggles for me personally but I put in 110% the entire time in HAVU because I didn't want that the lack of work ethic would be the reason for our downfall. Along the way, I learned a lot of valuable lessons and in my eyes, my understanding of the game grew and grew. Perhaps the biggest struggle over this time was that I did not feel like I was respected enough as a captain and sometimes my input was even ignored. This lead me to feel like I was not able to do my part. There are a lot of things I could have done differently and I will use this knowledge in the future for sure," he noted on Tweetlonger.
The athlete has decided to take a rest for some time. But he is open to propositions.
"If there is any team that is looking for a flexible player who is willing to put in the effort please contact me," he noted.
The organization has promised to give more information next week.
