Brazilian professional esports organization Imperial Esports has announced that Lincoln “fnx” Lau will no longer be a CS:GO player. The 32-year-old veteran is now a coach and a streamer for the organization.
fnx said that he will replace Luis “peacemaker” Tadeu for the coach position for the Regional Major Ranking (RMR) Americas (RMR) and the IEM Rio Major 2022 if the team qualifies.
Apparently, Marcelo “chelo” Cespedes will replace fnx in Imperial’s CS:GO roster. The 24-year-old in-game leader left MIBR in August.
The fnx’s departure from the player’s position was a consequence of the disappointing results of Imperial.
However, the Brazilian veteran can boast of a career in esports. He started in 2000 as a Counter-Strike player, also playing Counter-Strike Source from 2008-2011. Since 2013 he has played Counter-Strike: Global Offensive for numerous eminent teams.
