The Serbian player will not be returning with G2 in the second half of 2024.
G2 have announced the removal of Nemanja ‘â nexa’ IsakoviÄ from the starting lineup. ‘nexa’, who joined from OG in November 2023, was initially brought in to support the trio of Nikola’â NiKo’ KovaÄ, Nemanja ‘huNter-â ‘ KovaÄ, and Ilya ‘â m0NESYâ ‘ Osipov but has now lost his place in the starting five. In the first half of 2024, the Serbian rifler was part of the team that secured G2’s only trophy at IEM Dallas. Rasmus’ HooXi’ Nielsen was absent from the tournament, and ‘NiKo’ took over the in-game leader role with Jake ‘Stewie2Kâ ‘ Yip as a stand-in. Despite ending the event with a 0.85 rating, he faced criticism. Following a 0.81-rated performance at BLAST Premier Fall Finals, ‘nexa’ has been removed from the team.
G2 announced that they are helping ‘nexa’ find a new team, with ‘nexa’ himself expressing openness to offers in any role.
nexa is not giving up
