HEROIC have said goodbye to René ‘TeSeS’ Madsen, Damjan ‘kyxsan’ Stoilkovski, and Abdul ‘degster’ Gasanov in a post on X this Saturday.
HEROIC Announcement
With the completion of the triple signing, the Falcons now have their finalized roster. On Friday, the organization officially revealed the highly anticipated addition of Nikola ‘NiKo’ Kovač, who has joined Emil ‘Magisk’ Reif, the last remaining player from the former team.
The decision concludes a challenging off-season for Danny ‘zonic’ Sørensen and his team, who had to adjust their plans after their second attempt to secure Ilya ‘m0NESY’ Osipov’s signature was unsuccessful.
Ultimately, they decided to integrate a HEROIC core that provides a crucial eighth position in Valve’s global rankings, which is essential for securing invitations to premier tournaments starting in 2025.
The updated roster is set to launch in BLAST’s inaugural Bounty season, beginning online on January 14. If they secure a spot in the top eight, they will also make their LAN debut at the finals taking place in Copenhagen starting January 23. Additionally, they are expected to receive an invitation to IEM Katowice, which starts at the end of the month.
At this point, HEROIC only includes Rasmus ‘sjuush’ Beck and Guy ‘NertZ’ Iluz in their roster, but it’s also been reported that both are likely to depart, with the former heading to Ninjas in Pyjamas and the latter moving to Liquid.
