Andrew ‘kaze’ Khong has joined Rare Atom, taking over as the team’s primary AWPer from Junqi ‘Risk’ Chen.
‘kaze’ will be joining the Chinese organization for the second time, having spent 18 months there with his long-time collaborator Zhuo ‘advent’ Liang in 2022 and 2023. In October 2023, ‘kaze’ moved with ‘advent’ and the Rare Atom core to TYLOO, but unfortunately, the team struggled to achieve results and failed to qualify for PGL Major Copenhagen.
In May, ‘kaze’ was let go as part of a series of changes implemented by TYLOO as they transitioned to a younger roster.
He could rejoin Rare Atom Summer’ ‘somebody’ Asia MajorPerfect World Shanghai and partner with the experienced duo of YuLun’ Cai and HaoWen Xu for the first in November.
