Spanish CS:GO player Pere “sausol” Solsona Saumell joins Movistar Riders, the organization announced on Twitter.
He has to replace Raúl “DeathZz” Jordán Nieto, who has been benched.
Earlier, the upcoming transfer was reported by the Portuguese outlet Fraglider.
26-year-old DeathZz has been playing for Movistar Riders since August 2021. It is obvious, the reshuffle was provoked by the poor results of the Spanish squad in recent times.
Movistar Riders took the last places at the RMR in Malta and the ESL Pro League Season 16; at the ESL Challenger at DreamHack Rotterdam 2022 they ranked 5th-6th.
22-year-old sausol did not have time to play for Partizans for long, he joined the team only in August 2022. The most significant achievement sausol reached with MAD LIONS in 2021.
Movistar Riders’ roster is now:
- Pere “sausol” Solsona Saumell
- Alejandro “mopoz” Fernández-Quejo Cano
- Alejandro “ALEX” Masanet Candela
- David “dav1g” Granado Bermudo
- Antonio “Martinez” Martinez Sánchez
- Galder “bladE” Barcena (coach)
- Raúl “DeathZz” Jordán Nieto (benched)
