Legacy has stated that Gabriel ‘NEKIZ’ Schenato has been placed on the bench from their Counter-Strike lineup and is up for transfer.
The dismissal of their veteran captain follows the organization’s decision to bench Bruno ‘b4rtiN’ Câmara in November, just after they failed to qualify for the Perfect World Shanghai Major.
The Brazilian team kicked off the Americas RMR with a great victory against FURIA but was unable to build on that momentum, losing subsequent matches to 9z, M80, and Marcelo ‘coldzera’ David’s RED Canids, ultimately finishing with a 1-3 record.
‘NEKIZ’, who joined the team in September 2023, had the lowest rating among Legacy players in China, recording a rating of 0.66, significantly lower than his average of 0.94 in 2024. The Brazilian rifler expressed on X that he has no particular preference for being an in-game leader in his next team, but he is willing to assume the role without any issues based on the project’s needs.
As per an earlier article from Dust2.com.br, a replacement for ‘NEKIZ’ has been identified, with Legacy looking to strengthen their team by adding Lucas ‘lux’ Meneghini and Vinicius ‘n1ssim’ Pereira.
