After four years with the organization-less team, Corey ‘nettik’Browne has officially parted ways with Rooster.
Sources indicated at the end of June that the 20-year-old was a top contender for a new team led by former Renegades and 100 Thieves in-game leader Aaron ‘AZR’ Ward, under the Hong Kong-based organization Talon.
‘nettik’ joined Rooster in February 2020 at 16 years old. Despite his age, he quickly became one of the team’s best performers and remained with the core team, also representing Paradox, for nearly four and a half years through various iterations.
After exclusively competing in the Oceanic gaming community during the COVID-19 pandemic, ‘nettik’ was given the opportunity to compete internationally when Rooster secured qualification for two consecutive ESL Pro League seasons in 2023, along with the IEM Katowice 2024 Play-in.
In Season 18 of the EPL, he showcased an outstanding performance by achieving a remarkable 1.39 rating. Despite a close loss to the 14th-ranked Monte squad in the world, his exceptional performance stood out.
