Martin ‘STYKO’ Styk and Tomáš ‘oskar’ Šťastný are the key players of a newly formed team called Inner Circle, which was announced today.
Adding to the previously mentioned duo are Szymon ‘kRaSnaL’ Mrozek, Frederik ‘Fessor’ Sørensen, and Marcus ‘Q-Q’ Krolak-Henriksen, rounding out a roster primarily composed of players from the European scene.
‘oskar’ stands out as the most accomplished player in the team, with multiple significant LAN trophies to his name and two recognitions on HLTV’s top 20 players list in 2017 and 2018. The sharpshooter most recently played for SINNERS, achieving an average rating of 1.13 and leading them to the Perfect World Shanghai Major 2024 Europe RMR during his time with the team.
‘STYKO’ teams up again with ‘oskar’ on Inner Circle, having previously secured trophies together at MOUZ. Since that time, ‘STYKO’ has transitioned through various European teams, most notably achieving a top-four finish at the BLAST.tv Paris Major with Apeks. His latest playing experience was during a short period with Monte in the middle of last year.
The last player who has tier-one experience is ‘kRaSnaL’, who played with Monte for the past three years, achieving an average rating of 1.05 during that period while securing victory at ESL Challenger Jönköping 2023 and making it to the playoffs of the BLAST.tv Paris Major.
Two Danes, known as ‘Fessor’ and ‘Q-Q’, round out the starting five. Each has dedicated their career to competing in the lower levels of Europe’s online gaming community.
The team will be coached by Sergey ‘lmbt’ Bezhanov, who previously led MOUZ during their trophy victories alongside ‘oskar’ and ‘STYKO’ in 2017 and 2018. He also maintains the connection with Monte, as that was the most recent team he coached, where he guided them to a brief rise to No. 6 in the world ranking in early 2024.
