Overview
As both the Opening Stage and Elimination Stage came to their conclusion now, the tournament determined its Playoff Stage competitors. The best team in the world, Natus Vincere, didn’t make it to the Playoff Stage as they fell off in an elimination match against HEROIC. Another team that surprised many in a good way was TheMongolZ, who made it to the Playoff Stage without losing a single match, and now this team, who was a dark horse at some point, looks like a real contender here. The Playoff Stage will be held from December 12 to December 15 at Shanghai Oriental Sports Center. Since two teams with the top players made it here, Spirit and Vitality with their star players ‘ZywOo’ for Vitality and ‘donk’ for Spirit, the results of this tournament and their own individual scores might decide who will end up as the top player in the world of this year.
