FlyQuest has brought on Iulian ‘regali’ Harjău as their new sniper, just two weeks after the team opted to bench their long-time AWPer, Alistair ‘aliStair’ Johnston.
The decision to acquire a European sniper follows a time when FlyQuest faced difficulties in overcoming their limitations, finishing the opening stage of the Major with a 2-3 record. ‘regali’ comes on board as a free agent after a brief period with Entropiq, although he is primarily recognized for his tenure with OG.
He was part of the Nils ‘k1to’ Gruhne-led team for eight months, maintaining an average rating of 1.07, until he was succeeded by his fellow countryman Mădălin-Andrei ‘MoDo’ Mirea.
The Romanian AWPer, who relocated to Denmark in 2015, started his journey with fnatic Rising and received a strong endorsement from Martin ‘stavn’ Lund in 2022.
FlyQuest is now looking to harness that potential, focusing on firepower rather than the chemistry the former roster shared with ‘aliStair’.
