FaZe has revealed that Robin ‘ropz’ Kool is leaving the team, bidding goodbye with a video that highlights his career and experiences with FaZe. The update comes after prior rumors indicated that ‘ropz’ might join Vitality to take Lotan ‘Spinx’ Giladi’s place in the European squad. ‘Ropz’ had spent nearly three years with FaZe, reuniting with his former MOUZ teammate Finn ‘karrigan’ Andersen in January 2022. Following ‘ropz’s integration into the team, FaZe achieved swift success, winning championships at IEM Katowice, PGL Major Antwerp, and IEM Cologne.
FaZe Announcement
‘ropz’ and the FaZe team kept their strong performance going in 2023, achieving the Intel Grand Slam by securing victory at ESL Pro League Season 17, while also quickly adapting to the launch of CS2 with triumphs at IEM Sydney, Thunderpick World Championship, and CS Asia Championships.
FaZe experienced a slowdown in 2024, achieving a title at IEM Chengdu but not succeeding in their pursuits at IEM Katowice and PGL Major Copenhagen. A late-year revival from ‘ropz’ contributed to the international team’s strong performance at the Perfect World Shanghai Major, where they just fell short of securing a Major victory against Spirit.

FaZe roster is as follows:
- Håvard ‘rain’ Nygaard
- Finn ‘karrigan’ Andersen
- Helvijs ‘broky’ Saukants
- David ‘frozen’ Čerňanský
