According to sources with knowledge of the situation, Team Liquid sent an offer to paiN to have Brazilian player Felipe “skullz” Medeiros and things are well advanced.
Dust2 Brasil also reported Liquid’s interest in skullz, in addition to the agreement with Wilton “zews” Prado who replaces Damian “daps” Steele.
The European organization is facing a turbulent period with the Counter-Strike squad. After opting to leave the organization’s historic player, Jonathan “EliGE” Jablonowski, the team opted to transform the team into a team with a European majority core.
Aleks “Rainwaker” Petrov and Robert “Patsi” Isyanov joined the organization in June, but are expected to leave. Rainwaker has already had his departure made official, while Patsi had his name rumored outside the organization by the journalist Aleksey “OverDrive” Biryukov.
Danish captain and AWPer Casper “cadiaN” Møller’s name has been heavily linked to Team Liquid in recent weeks following his surprise departure from Heroic.
If there are significant advances in the deal between paiN and Liquid, skullz would be the sixth Brazilian to represent the European organization in Counter-Strike after peaceamaker, zews, steelega, TACO and FalleN.
