The organizers of the Skyesports Championship have announced that BLEED, PARIVISION, and DMS have all confirmed their participation in the upcoming event. However, FURIA has decided not to compete in the tournament.
The tournament organizer from India reported that FURIA had to withdraw due to a scheduling conflict. The Brazilian team, which recently recruited Felipe ‘skullz’ Medeiros from Liquid, is set to compete in the Esports World Cup in Saudi Arabia next week and in IEM Cologne in early August.
Nemanja ‘nexaâ ‘ IsakoviÄ is all set to make his debut with the BLEED team at the upcoming Skyesports Championship. One of the main reasons for bringing him on board was to enhance the team’s ability to handle the anchor role, which was previously managed by Josef ‘faveNâ ‘ Baumann.
PARIVISION is still looking for a new player after Andrey ‘Jerryâ ‘ Mekhryakov stepped down due to burnout, while Ivan ‘F_1Nâ ‘ Kochugov was named as the team’s new head coach earlier in the off-season.
DMS, a relatively obscure team, has been steadily making a name for itself in online tournaments since December 2023. Notably, three of the team’s players have yet to make any appearances in LAN events.
Get ready for the highly anticipated Skyesports Championship, set to unfold in Mumbai from July 23-29. With an impressive $300,000 prize pool up for grabs, the tournament will commence with an exhilarating round-robin group stage, pitting six teams against each other in two separate groups. The action will culminate in intense single-elimination playoffs, promising thrilling matchups and fierce competition.
