MOUZ has declared that they have finalized the acquisition of Lotan ‘Spinx’ Giladi from Vitality. The Israeli player will assist in covering the gap left by the unexpected benching of in-game leader Kamil ‘siuhy’ Szkaradek.
‘Spinx’ departs from Vitality after more than two years with the French organization, having joined from ENCE in August 2022. Throughout his tenure on the team, he contributed to securing seven significant trophies, including the BLAST Paris Major.
He was sidelined by Vitality at the conclusion of 2024 following a challenging year where the team found it hard to compete for titles. Midway through the season, ‘Spinx’ had already requested to look into other opportunities but ultimately chose to remain and assisted the team in achieving victory at IEM Cologne.
With the arrival of the new season, it appeared that one of the leading players in the game would need to be patient before getting another opportunity.
However, MOUZ’s unexpected turmoil due to differing perspectives on the team’s direction has opened a chance for the Israeli player, who is anticipated to take over Ludvig ‘Brollan’ Brolin’s role as a rotating lurker while the Swede assumes the responsibilities of captain.
‘Spinx’ will need to wait a few weeks before making his debut with MOUZ. Since the roster lock for IEM Katowice is already established, he was unable to be registered for the Polish tournament, where the team will use academy player Adrian ‘xelex’ Vincze as a substitute. His initial appearance in MOUZ’s jersey might take place at PGL Cluj-Napoca, which is set for February 14-23.
