Miłosz ‘mhL’ Knasiak has transitioned to the bench of TALON and is “allowed to seek opportunities without a buyout and participate in [practices]/official events with teams (pending TALON’s prior approval)”, ‘mhL’ declared on X.
mhL Statement
He was the top-rated player on the team throughout his time there, achieving an average rating of 1.16 across 44 maps. This decision follows a disappointing beginning for the Oceanic roster, which was formed only in August of the previous year.
TALON successfully qualified for the Perfect World Shanghai Major Asia RMR and achieved an upset against FlyQuest in their opening match, but after suffering consecutive losses to Rare Atom and Lynn Vision, they were unable to secure a spot in the Major itself.
The squad participated in several online European tournaments prior to the Asia RMR, securing victories in only four of their 12 matches. They currently hold the No. 246 position in Valve’s Global Ranking (No. 32 in Asia) and are ranked No. 108 on HLTV.
‘mhL’ and Aaron ‘AZR’ Ward have missed all four matches that TALON played this year, as the team has been competing in Oceanic competitions with Euan ‘sterling’ Moore and Liam ‘malta’ Schembri in their place.
TALON roster is as follows:
- Aaron ‘AZR’ Ward
- Corey ‘nettik’ Browne
- Jared ‘hazr’ O’Bree
- Christian ‘ADDICT’ Pendleton
- Daniel ‘djL’ Narancic (coach)
- Miłosz ‘mhL’ Knasiak (benched)
