Counter-Strike is a very competitive game. To climb higher up the competitive ladder, players need to master all aspects of the game, including weapon accuracy, movement, map layout, etc.

What Does ADR Mean in CS2?
Statistic ADR
ADR is an acronym for Average Damage per Round. Average Damage per Round reflects your performance throughout the match by dividing your total damage by the number of rounds played.
The higher your ADR, the better. If you consistently do damage, you directly affect the match’s outcome. At the beginning of each round, players have 100HP. If you deal 100 damage to an opponent, they die. How you damage your opponent is irrelevant; the game considers damage from bullets, grenades, and knives.
If your ADR is around 100, you’ve killed one enemy on average, and that’s a good result.
Skill levels based on ADR:
- High: If your ADR is above 80.
- Medium: If your ADR is between 60 and 79.
- Low: If your ADR is below 59.
How to Calculate ADR in CS2
Statistic ADR
Those who play CS2 regularly know that a headshot taken with an AWP does over 400 damage. However, ADR calculations in CS2 are slightly different and only consider the loss of health points that resulted in death or injury.
For example, if you kill an enemy with 100 health points by dealing 400 damage with an AWP, you will still only get 100 points in your ADR stats.
ADR is calculated by dividing the total damage dealt in a match by the number of rounds played. For example, if a player does 1000 damage in a game of 20 rounds, his ADR will be 50.
If you are unhappy with your ADR, focus on dealing with damage safely and efficiently. Take better positions, improve your marksmanship, and avoid unnecessary risks.
Where to Find ADR Statistics in CS2
ADR in Counter-Strike 2 needs to make sense to check in modes that do not contain a transparent, round system. This characteristic makes sense only in Competitive, Wingman, and Casual modes. You can check your ADR during the match or after the game is over.
