HEROIC has just announced that Volodymyr ‘Woro2k’ Veletniuk will be stepping in for the team at IEM Cologne, beginning with the Play-In on August 7. This change comes as Abdul ‘degster’ Gasanov is once again unable to participate due to visa issues.
‘Woro2k’ gained recognition for his significant contribution to the Monteteam from July 2022 until his departure during the summer break. His tenure with the team was highlighted by an impressive underdog run to the quarter-finals of the Paris Major, propelling the team to a top 10 position in the world rankings.
Shortly after HEROIC confirmed that ‘degster’ will miss the start of IEM Cologne, it was revealed that they are still waiting for visa approval and are ready to fly him in immediately.
At IEM Cologne, HEROIC is set to kick off their journey in the Play-In stage where they will face MIBR this Wednesday at 12:30 CET.
