BLAST Rivals 2026 Teams, Favorites, and Underdogs

After winning four trophies this year, Team Vitality stands as the clear favorite. Their consistency and dominance have firmly established them as the best team in the world and the team everyone else is trying to beat.
Close behind are Natus Vincere and FURIA, currently among the top teams globally. Both squads have the firepower and experience to challenge Vitality and are strong contenders for the title.
Dark Horses
Astralis and G2 Esports enter as dangerous outsiders. While inconsistent at times, both teams have shown they can compete with elite opposition. Astralis, in particular, impressed at PGL Bucharest 2026, reaching the grand final. If they replicate that form, they could upset the favorites.
FUT Esports would normally be considered a major dark horse after their surprising title run at PGL Bucharest 2026. However, with lauNX sidelined due to health issues and stand-in coolio stepping in, the roster change significantly weakens their chances. As a result, they fall more into the underdog category for this event.
Underdogs
FaZe Clan faces a tough tournament after losing their in-game leader, karrigan, and bringing in stand-in Neityu. Even prior to this change, their form had been shaky, making a deep run unlikely.
Similarly, GamerLegion comes in with the least success among all participants this year. They still have something to prove and will need a standout performance to compete at this level.

The Road to the BLAST Rivals Trophy Runs Through Vitality
With momentum, confidence, and a track record of success, Team Vitality enters BLAST Rivals 2026 Season 1 as the team to beat. However, with strong challengers and unpredictable dark horses in the mix, the tournament is far from decided. One thing is certain: Vitality will be back soon to fight for another trophy, but whether anyone can finally stop them remains the biggest question heading into the event.
