Liquid has just announced that Wilton ‘zews‘ Prado will be stepping down from his role as head coach with immediate effect.
The Brazilian tactician is Liquid’s second departure following the benching of Casper ‘cadiaNâ ‘ Møller earlier in the month. This news comes after lackluster results since Liquid’swinter rebuild when they also added Russel ‘Twistzzâ ‘ Van Dulken and Felipe ‘skullzâ ‘ Medeiros.
‘Zews’ joined Liquid in December with ‘Twistzz’ and ‘skullz’, but the team failed to meet expectations by not breaking into the top ten world rankings during their time together.
Liquid started the season by missing out on a Major spot and struggled for consistency. They made the playoffs at IEM Chengdu and EPL S19 but reportedly had a negative team atmosphere.
