After revealing some of the best carries you can get in the Dota 2 Patch 7.34e, we must address something else. Every patch has several heroes that are not worth getting; this one isn’t an exception. Players can choose from many good options, but certain heroes have to be avoided, and we will learn more about them in just a bit.

    Batrider

There were times when Batrider was one of the best Dota 2 heroes. He was powerful in almost any lineup because he provided his team with easy pick-offs and could lane well against nearly anything. Some of those things are true even today, but the bad news is that Batrider is nowhere near as good as before.

If we examine the hero's current win rate, we can see that it is around 40%, which is low. In fact, this is the lowest win rating in the game right now, which means he is the worst hero to pick in your PUB games. His pick rate is 0.62%, which is extremely low for a Dota 2 hero.

Batrider has never been that good in PUBs because he is a hero who relies a lot on his team. Sure, he can dominate his lane and secure kills, but this hero cannot carry.

Considering his low stats, we expect to see at least a few buffs in the next patch.

    Terrorblade

The second hero is exciting for a couple of reasons. TB is very popular in professional matches, and you can expect to see him in almost every patch. Sadly, this is not true for PUB matches because Terrorblade is not worth it.

The stats reveal that he is the 2nd-worst hero to get right now. His current win rate is almost 43%, and his pick rate is below 2%. Those stats make him the least successful and one of the least-picked options on the list.

Albeit a late-game monster, Terrorblade's early and mid-game is not the best. In fact, he is similar to Anti-Mage in many ways. The latter is also not a solid pick because he needs to work better in pubs.

Even though there are certain games where you can make Terrorblade work, usually, it is not worth it. Terrorblade is hard to pull off in pubs, so our experience tells us it is better to pick something else if you value your MMR.

    Pangolier

Pangolier is an exciting option in Dota 2 because he has been one of the best heroes in the professional Dota 2 scene. Tons of teams at The International 12 relied on the hero, which is no surprise, considering his damage output. Sadly, this does not work in PUB games.

Pango has always been a problematic pick to pull off. He is vital in a lot of situations, but he is hard to master. On top of that, the hero needs to snowball to work correctly, which is also not always possible in PUBs.

Another issue related to Pangolier specifically is the hero received nerfs in the most recent Dota 2 patch. He needs more mana to work appropriately, so many people stopped playing him. For now, he remains one of the Dota 2 heroes you should avoid if you value your MMR.

    Doom

Another offlaner not as good as before is Doom, whose win rate is similar to Pangolier's (around 43.35%). This may surprise many of you because Doom is usually one of the names dominating PUB Dota 2. In fact, there have been patches where he has been among the best heroes to get. Sadly, those times are long gone.

Doom is one of the worst picks you can get at the time of writing. His pick rate is down by almost 1% in the last few weeks and is around 2.50%, which indicates that Dota 2 players prefer using other options.

The most recent Dota 2 patch did not include any significant changes to Doom, but this is not a good sign because the hero was not a solid pick before that. It has been a while since we've seen him in action, so we expect some buffs in the next Dota 2 patch.
