There were rumors that Anton “dyrachyo” Shkredov wanted to take a break from professional Dota 2. Even though Tundra Esports has been one of the best teams in the world recently, and the fact that he became a part of the Tundra just 2 months ago, the player decided to step down. Instead of him, Tundra decided to add Remco “Crystallis” Arets as the team’s new carry.
Crystallis to Replace Dyrachyo
A lot of Dota 2 players were surprised by dyrachyo’s decision to leave Tundra Esports after joining just 2 months ago. It’s safe to say that the Western European powerhouse is in excellent form because it just finished second at the PGL Wallachia Season 3. Prior to that, the team also got 2nd place at DreamLeague Season 25 and won the previous two tournaments.
Despite the success, it seems like the carry player wants to take some time off the professional scene. This unexpected move caught Tundra off guard, and it will definitely affect its overall success. Fortunately, the Western European squad quickly found a replacement in the face of Crystallis.
Crystallis is a well-known name in the professional Dota 2 scene because he was a part of Team Secret for many years. After leaving the club, Crystallis spent some time with PARIVSION. What’s interesting is that he helped the latter win its only tournament yet (ESL One Bangkok 2024).
Despite the success, PARIVISION decided to part ways with the Dota 2 veteran in favor of Alan “Satanic” Gallyamov. This happened two months ago, but Crystallis found a new home in the face of Tundra Esports.
