Nigma Galaxy fans will remember that Ivan “MinD_ContRoL” Ivanov was one of Nigma Galaxy’s founding members. Even though he is no longer playing for the team, the player will join forces for the FISSURE PLAYGROUND 2 because two of the existing players have visa issues.
MinD_ContRoL To Play for Nigma Galaxy
It seems that Nigma Galaxy has several issues for the upcoming tournament, as it is missing two players. It became clear that Maroun “GH” Merhej will leave the team, so the latter decided to add someone on trial. Sadly, it seems like the person has issues with his visa, which means Nigma is down to 3 players.
Despite the roster problems, Nigma’s most recent results are pretty good. Tobias “Tobi” Buchner is currently a trial support and is doing well, but he won’t be enough because two of Nigma’s players can’t attend the event due to visa issues:
- Omar “OmaR” Moughrabi
- Tony “No!ob” Assaf
Since the two were unable to secure a visa, Nigma Galaxy will play alongside Kirill “Hellscream” Lagutik and Ivan “MinD_ContRoL” Ivanov. The latter will finally be reunited with his former team after they stopped playing together in 2023. MC tried his luck in several other places, but he never achieved the same result as with his previous team.
Will MinD_ContRoL Remain a Part of Nigma Galaxy?
This is definitely one of the hottest questions right now, especially considering Nigma’s current state. Even though the squad needs help, we don’t believe MC will remain a permanent part of his former squad. Once FISSURE PLAYGROUND 2 is over, we might see a completely new name.
Until then, Dota 2 fans will have the chance to see the following roster:
- Daniel “Ghost” Chan
- Sumail “SumaiL” Hassan
- Ivan “MinD_ContRoL” Ivanov
- Kirill “Hellscream” Lagutik
- Tobias “Tobi” Buchner
