Margin “Saksa” Sazdov will be playing for Team Yandex as a stand-in. The news comes just a few days after it became clear that he won’t be a part of Team Tundra’s current roster.
Saksa Joins Team Yandex
Team Yandex is a CIS squad that recently played in FISSURE Universe: Episode 7. Sadly, it was not able to do much and finished in the 7th-8th place after losing to MOUZ. This proved that the roster needed help after the team’s position, 5 Alexey “Solo” Berezin, stepped down from the active team.
Since Team Yandex has several other matches ahead of it, the squad decided to add Saksa to its roster. The North Macedonian Dota 2 player recently moved to Tundra Esports’s inactive roster, alongside Crystallis. We expected him to take a break from competitive play and focus on something else, but it seems like Saksa wants to keep going.
The interesting news is that he won’t be a part of Yandex permanently. Instead, he will be the team’s stand-in in its upcoming matches. Team Yandex has several clashes ahead and will do its best to qualify for some of the bigger Dota 2 tournaments.
In terms of Team Yandex and its results, the squad has not really achieved anything yet. It took part in several Tier 2 competitions but was unable to win any of them. The team’s biggest accomplishment is its spot at the Esports World Cup 2025, where it finished 9th-12th after losing to Gaimin Gladiators.
As for Saksa, he and Tundra Esports were among the best Dota 2 teams in the world in 2025. They won several events, including BLAST Slam II and II, as well as the FISSURE PLAYGROUND 1. However, after TI14 came to an end, Tundra decided to replace its carry and pos 5 by adding fresh names to the roster.
