Following TI14, Valve decided to bombard us with many new cosmetic items from the Community Workshop. In the next couple of days, Dota 2 players will have the chance to use the Collector’s Cache Voting button and choose the sets they’d like to see. Here’s what we need to know.
Collector’s Cache Voting
Starting today (October 8) and continuing until October 22, players who open their Dota 2 clients will have the opportunity to vote for various items. We saw a couple of different options, but Valve decided to bombard us with alternatives. As a result, there are 283 new sets to choose from and each one is special.
Your goal is to go through as many of them as possible and decide which ones you’d like to see in action. The best thing about all these sets is that they are from the Dota 2 community. Each one is unique in its own way, so you need to decide if it is worth it.
Our personal favorite has to be Snapfire’s Chinese-dragon set because it looks really awesome. Considering the hero’s popularity, we believe there is a good chance this set will make it.
In other news, we revealed the teams at BLAST Slam IV, but it became clear that PARIVISION will miss out on the tournament. The club decided to give its players some time off, so we won’t see them in action. We will have to wait a couple of days to see which Dota 2 team will replace them.
Also, Vici Gaming decided to come back to professional Dota 2. The Chinese powerhouse has a new roster that looks interesting on paper, but we’ll have to wait and see if it will live up to its fans’ expectations.
