Russian esport manager Alexander “StrangeR” Solomonov has announced the reload of Dota 2 team Wayfarers.
“Despite the off-season for many, my work continues. Not all players have a rest, some are already eager to fight and prepare for the new season. Today I present to you the new Wayfarers roster, which I assembled for participation in D2CL Season 15,” he noted on his Telegram channel.
Ilya “Squad1x” Kuvaldin and Sergey “HappyDyurara” Horonzhiy remained in the Wayfarers from the previous roster. Former Mind Games player Uladzislau “Petushara” Kazlouski as well as professional esportsmen Mikhail “DarkLord^” Blinov and Danial “XSvamp1Re” Alibaev joined the updated squad.
Wayfarers were created in May 2022. The core of the Wayfarers’ first lineup was from the previously disbanded AS Monaco Gambit roster. By the end of May, Wayfarers announced that some of the players were leaving the team and the rest will take a break.
Winline Dota 2 Champions League Season 15, where the updated Wayfarers team is going to debut, will be held from September 19 to October 5, 2022. The teams will compete for a $50,000 prize pool.
