    The Roster Change

    https://twitter.com/heroicdota2/status/1874532448954139050

HEROIC is one of the South American powerhouses and has decided to make some important roster changes for 2025. Following the decision, the organization removed David Nicho “Parker” Flores and Cedric “Davai Lama” Deckmyn to make way for Yuma “Yuma” Langlet and Adrian “Wisper” Cespedes Dobles.

After the important changes, HEROIC will have the following 2025 Dota 2 Roster:

    • Yuma “Yuma” Langlet
    • João Gabriel “4nalog” Giannini Santos
    • Adrian “Wisper” Cespedes Dobles
    • Elvis “Scofield” Peña
    • Matheus “KJ” Santos Jungles Diniz

    Davai Lama’s departure

The first player to leave HEROIC is Davai Lama. These changes might surprise some, but those who’ve followed HEROIC closely know they were expected. According to the club, the player’s contract ended, and both parties decided it was time for a new challenge.

The 24-year-old player was a part of the team for almost one year. Before joining in early 2024, he played for D2 Hustlers and Luna Galaxy. Davai Lama’s biggest accomplishment so far is winning PGL Wallachia Season 2 after defeating Team Falcons in the Grand Final.

    HEROIC welcomes Wisper and Yuma

HEROIC’s Dota 2 roster has two new additions, one of which is Yuma. Often described as one of the rising stars in this part of the world, the carry player is a big name in the region. He has been a part of several big Dota 2 teams so far, including Nouns Esports. Sadly, the latter disbanded in November, so it’s time for Yuma to embrace a new challenge.

Alongside the 23-year-old carry, HEROIC added one of South America’s most recognizable names — Whisper. The offlaner will return to the region after being part of OG for over a year. Sadly, he could not help the team achieve the desired results.

In an interesting post, OG said that Wisper was the one who requested to move back to South America. He wanted to be “closer to his loved ones”, While playing for OG, Wisper and Co. reached 4th place at ESL One Birmingham 2024. Unfortunately, the team could not do anything big and missed out on many big tournaments.

HEROIC’s New Dota 2 Roster Debute

No big Dota 2 tournaments are currently ongoing, but things will change soon. If we take a look at the Dota 2 events schedule, we can see that the DreamLeague Season 25 qualifiers are soon. This will be when HEROIC’s new roster will debut, so we can’t wait to see it in action. Who knows, the club might become the best in its region.
